Manhattan Twilight

This photograph captures Manhattan at blue hour, when the last daylight is fading and the city’s artificial lights begin to dominate.

Towering skyscrapers rise tightly on both sides of the avenue, creating a dramatic urban canyon beneath a deep, saturated blue sky. Warm yellow windows and streetlights contrast beautifully with the cool blue tones of the buildings. Bright billboards and illuminated storefronts add splashes of cyan, magenta, orange, and white farther down the street.

In the foreground, a yellow NYC taxi approaches the camera, its headlights glowing against the darkening pavement. Cars, pedestrians, traffic signals, and street vendors bring the avenue to life, while the reflective road surface adds even more colour and depth.
